Local Chef Christina Wilson Takes Her Talent to FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen

Hell's Kitchen Season 10

On June 4, Philadelphia resident and chef Christina Wilson will make her national television debut as she joins 17 other chefs from around the country for a chance to become America’s next culinary star on FOX’s hit series, Hell’s Kitchen.

She’ll brave the wrath of superstar chef Gordon Ramsay for the opportunity to claim the coveted head chef position at his new steakhouse at the Paris Las Vegas.

Originally from Phillipsburg, NJ, Chef Wilson moved to Philly to pursue her cooking passion and quickly fell in love with the city’s food scene. Natural talent and hard work allowed her to move from an unpaid apprenticeship to sous chef within two years of prepping her first kitchen shift.

In 2009, she joined Lolita (lesbian-owned!) as sous chef and was promoted to Chef de Cuisine in under a year. She later moved to the popular contemporary Italian BYOB Mercato as Chef de Cuisine.

When she’s not throwin down in the kitchen, she enjoys working out, fishing, traveling, being active, and spending time with her girlfriend and family: “I love to play. It’s easy for me to forget that, because the environment in the kitchen is so intense and it’s hard with 65 hour work weeks. I’m lucky I have great brothers and friends who remind me, and a girlfriend who has a similar sense of adventure.”

Be sure to tune into FOX on Monday, June 4 at 8 p.m. for the series 10 two-hour premiere!
