These ladies are here to dispel those myths – that while they may one day like to be in a committed, long-term relationship, they’re enjoying focusing on themselves and being their own valentine.

Ahh, I do truly enjoy being single, but I am forever going with the flow. I try not to project my life because it never works out how I originally planned it anyway.

Biggest misconception about single people?
I think one of the biggest misconceptions about single people is that we are “lonely.” Let’s not mistake that loneliness is a spiritual condition. I know a lot of people who are in relationships and are the loneliest people on the planet because they lack the freedom of what it feels like to be alone, content, happy, healthy and free.

What was the longest relationship you were in, and/or what was the biggest lesson you learned from it about yourself?
I was in a relationship for about 2 ½ years, and the biggest lesson is that my relationship with myself is every growing and most important to maintain; if someone is not into loving themselves first, there is no way they are going to love you.

Turn-Ons:
People who are in service to others, genuinely thoughtful, smell good, older than me and androgynous.
