Philly Pride 2016 Weekend Round-Up

The 27th Annual Philly Gay Pride Parade & Festival is Sunday, June 12, and like we do each year, we’ve rounded up all the hottest events and parties for the ladies. Make sure to rest up as it’s sure to be an unforgettable action-packed weekend. Happy Pride, Philly!!

Friday, June 10

5th Annual Pride Block Party
12th St. between Walnut & Spruce
6 p.m. – 11 p.m.

The 5th Annual Kick-Off Pride Block party takes place on 12th Street between Walnut & Spruce in the gayborhood. Ride the mechanical shark, dance, eat, drink, and avoid the long lines for your pride day wristband by purchasing it at a discounted rate for $10.

Saturday, June 11

Philadelphia Dyke March
Kahn Park
11th & Pine
3 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Join hundreds of self-identified dykes at Kahn Park for the 19th annual Dyke March, where dykes will gather, march, and rally to raise awareness of the needs, wants, and demands of our community. The event will feature performers, speakers, entertainment, and most importantly – an opportunity to take over the streets of Philadelphia.

William Way Homecoming
William Way Community Center

11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Join the staff and board of the William Way LGBT Community Center for the annual Homecoming, to support the center. Enjoy live entertainment, food and drinks, a silent auction, and more.

TDzE PRIDE presents a Drag King Extravaganza
VOYEUR Nightclub

8:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.

Don’t miss drag king performances by some of Philly’s best drag kings. Doors at 8:30pm, show at 9pm. $10 cover.

Celebrate Pride weekend at the official Dyke March afterparty, featuring DJ NiiLo and DJ Ka$h on the ones and twos. $5 entry before midnight and $10 after. Drink specials until midnight.

Sunday, June 14

Philly Pride 2016
Penn’s Landing
12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The 28th annual Philly Pride Festival takes place at Penn’s Landing from noon until 6 p.m., featuring hundreds of vendors, live music & entertainment, and much more. The parade begins in the gayborhood at noon and arrives at Penn’s Landing at approximately 1:30 p.m.

HouseParty: Post Pride Day Celebration
Franky Bradley’s

5 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Join Franky’s Foxes and Bradley’s Bucks as they throw a post-Pride HOUSE PARTY with DJ Chris Urban! Come prepared to play beer pong, flip cup, and more. $5 for entry and your solo cup.

ICANDY Sunday Official Pride After Party

4 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Head to ICANDY after the Pride Parade and Festival for $6 Stoli drinks, $3 Coors Lights, and three DJ’s. No cover.
